What we collect

• Salary and calculator inputs: none. The gross salary, currency, and period you choose stay on your device. There is no account, login, or form submission.
• Analytics: the site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It is cookieless and stores nothing on your device. For each page view it records the page path, referrer, and coarse data such as country, device type, operating system, and browser, all in aggregate. To count unique visitors within a single day it derives a non-reversible hash from your IP address and user agent together with a daily-rotating value; the IP address itself is discarded and the hash cannot be used to track you across days or across other sites. No profile of you is built.
• Advertising: the site may display advertising in future. Ad networks typically set cookies or similar identifiers. If and when advertising is added, this policy will be updated to name the network, and a cookie-consent banner will let you accept or reject non-essential cookies before any such script loads.
• Server logs: the hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and reliability. These are not used to identify individuals and are retained only briefly by the host.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies. The Vercel Web Analytics described above is cookieless. If advertising or any feature that relies on cookies is introduced later, a consent banner will appear first and no non-essential cookie will be set until you agree.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data about you, and to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Because the calculator collects no personal data and there is no account system, most requests will simply confirm that we hold nothing about you. Any analytics data used is aggregate and non-identifying. The legal basis for limited, privacy-respecting analytics is legitimate interest; for anything requiring cookies, consent.

Your rights (California / CCPA-CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. Aftertaxdoes not sell personal information. If advertising that constitutes “sharing” is introduced, a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control will be provided.

Children

The Service is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect their data.
